Witts Sue

Witts
Sue was born to a fairly normal rural family in After War
-0002 (for lack of a better scale). He has several
siblings, the youngest of whom are nine year old twins.
Somewhere along the line (it's not stated exactly![]() In contrast to the energetic Garoad Ran and laid back Roby Loy, Witts Sue is a more serious man. However, through his surly exterior, Witts is actually a pretty nice person. The whole reason he pilots a mobile suit is so that he can support his family. And when all of the gold he has collected is suddenly endangered, Witts fights against far superior numbers to get it back (and succeeds). He's also a useful ally. Though he may not have the greatest personality, his friends can always count on his support in battle, as he displays often by coming to the aid of fellow Gundam pilots in need. Witts pilots the very mobile GW-9800 Gundam Airmaster, and its mobility often comes in handy. When the Freeden reaches the ocean, the Leopard is temporarily useless, but the Airmaster makes great use of its flight capability alongside Garoad Ran and the GX. And of course, the Freeden didn't hire Witts for nothing. He's an excellent pilot, though perhaps not as skilled as Jamil Neat. It was only when Witts ended up fighting a new model with higher mobility than his own Airmaster (and several of them at that) that the Airmaster was actually seriously damaged in battle, and as soon as it was repaired and upgraded, Wiits found that the new models were no problem. Furthermore, as mentioned, he often comes to the aid of fellow pilots (usually Garoad Ran), and never backs down from a fight with the Frost brothers. Though he has more of a supporting role in the series, Witts Sue is really a good character. It's enjoyable to watch how his true (not to mention realistic) motive, to help his family, brings him into the Freeden group, and then how he subsequently develops bonds with other members of the crew, which apparently end up lasting longer than the Freeden itself. |
